Commander: ‘Heavy Blows’ Inflicted on U.S. Forces at Sea
TEHRAN -- Iran has inflicted “heavy blows” on U.S. forces at sea, forcing them to retreat farther from Iran’s maritime borders than at any point during the war, Rear Admiral Faramarz Bemani, deputy commander of Iran’s naval forces, said Monday.
He said Iran was developing new weapons and tactics in response to the U.S. naval blockade, warning of further retreat if Washington repeats what he called a strategic miscalculation.
