Iraqi PM al-Zaidi to Visit Saudi Arabia, Kuwait This Week
BAGHDAD (Dispatches) -- Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Falih al-Zaidi is expected to visit Saudi Arabia and Kuwait this week for talks on regional security, oil export routes, and bilateral disputes, Iraqi government sources said Monday.
Security cooperation is expected to dominate the agenda in Riyadh. Talks will also address reactivating the long-idle Iraqi-Saudi oil pipeline, which would provide Baghdad with an alternative export route to the Red Sea.
