TEHRAN – Iran’s Para-athlete Hajar Safarzadeh will fight to win gold medal at the Nagoya Asian Para Games

Safarzadeh will compete in the 100m, 200m, and 400m events at the Para Games,

“I promise that I will give my absolute best to return to Iran with the best possible medal. My main goal is to make the people of Iran happy,” Safarzadeh said.

Regarding training conditions and a lack of facilities, the athlete remarked: "Conditions are never completely ideal, and there are always obstacles. We faced some shortages during training camps—such as the lack of a proper tartan track—but I have learned to accept the situation and endure whatever hardships arise so that I can achieve good results in upcoming competitions."
