FROM TA'IZZ TO RIYADH

Yemeni Forces Consolidate Gains, Strike Deep Inside Saudi Arabia

Ansarullah-led armed forces seize strategic areas in southern Ta’izz, repel Saudi-backed formations while ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones hit strategic targets in Riyadh, Rabigh, Asir, Najran and Jizan.

SANA’A (Dispatches) -- Yemen's Armed Forces scored major advances in Ta'izz province and struck deep inside Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, as Ansarullah officials dismissed claims of Saudi-backed gains as "delusions" and warned that the equations of confrontation will continue until the aggression ends.

The advances come amid a rapidly intensifying Saudi-backed counteroffensive in southwestern Yemen.

Yemeni military sources confirmed that Armed Forces liberated the strategic areas of Sharjab and Hijjah al-Abd before advancing toward al-Damnah and al-Maqalih, the last remaining areas in southern Ta'izz.

The operation followed weeks of intense clashes with Saudi-backed forces, during which Yemeni units expelled Saudi mercenaries from the strategic regions of al-Ma'afar and al-Mawaset.

Local sources reported that Sana'a began restoring normal life in the southwestern countryside districts of Ta'izz on Tuesday, with markets and shops reopening after days of fighting.

The Al-Masirah channel broadcast field interviews from several districts in al-Hujariyah, most notably al-Ma'afar—the hometown of Rashad al-Alimi, head of the Saudi-backed Presidential Leadership Council, and Sultan al-Barakani, speaker of the parliament loyal to the fugitive regime based in Aden —where residents expressed relief at the entry of Yemeni forces and the expulsion of Saudi factions.

New judicial appointments were issued for courts in al-Wazi'iyah, al-Makha, Mawza', al-Ta'iziyah, Hays, and al-Khawkhah, all areas secured in the recent operation launched in September.

Muhammed al-Bukhaiti, a senior member of Ansarullah's political bureau, told Al-Araby TV that there is "no advance by Saudi-backed forces in Ta'izz, the West Coast, or Bab al-Mandab," describing published reports as "delusions" caused by "Riyadh Syndrome". He described the battle for Ta'izz as "virtually concluded".

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced that three military operations were conducted using ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones.

The first targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, disrupting aviation traffic. The second struck the Aramco refinery in Rabigh, causing a large fire. The third hit Abha International Airport, Khamis Mushait base, and Aqifah camp in Asir province, along with sensitive targets in Najran and Jizan.

Saree stated the operations were in response to 60 Saudi airstrikes and missile attacks on Yemen in the preceding 24 hours, which struck Sana'a and the provinces of al-Jawf, Ta'izz, Hudaydah, Sa’ada, and Ma’rib, causing civilian casualties. The total number of Saudi strikes since the latest escalation began has reached 1,576.

Saree also announced that dozens of strikes targeted Saudi mercenary gatherings in Lahij province, causing more than 200 casualties. He described the losses as "unprecedented".

Similar strikes hit gatherings in eastern al-Jawf and eastern Ma’rib. The spokesman released video footage showing drone and missile strikes on Saudi-backed forces near Bab al-Mandab.

Saree renewed warnings to international airlines to halt flights over Saudi airspace, declaring it a "battlefield" for Yemeni military operations, with the exception of airspace over Mecca and Medina. He affirmed that Yemeni forces maintain full control over all battlefield achievements.

Hizam al-Assad, a member of Ansarullah's political bureau, stated on X that Saudi escalation obliges Yemeni forces to redraw the features of "Vision 2030" differently, emphasizing that Riyadh's aggressive choices will determine the nature of consequences it will suffer.

He wrote: "With God's help and grace, Ta'izz will be liberated and Aramco in Riyadh and Khurais is in flames."

Mahdi al-Mashat, head of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, declared that Yemen's equations will continue until the aggression fully stops and the unjust siege on the Yemeni people is lifted.

Saudi Arabia claimed its airstrikes destroyed 324 high-value targets and that its mercenaries reached the outskirts of al-Makha. Ansarullah dismissed these claims.

A military source told Al Mayadeen that Ansarullah-led Yemeni forces had liberated over 2,000 square kilometers of Ta'izz province. Saudi-backed forces were repelled in al-Makha and expelled from Dhubab after a brief advance that was quickly contained.

Ansarullah also reported a new wave of missile and drone attacks against targets across Saudi Arabia, extending the battlefield beyond Yemen and striking targets in Riyadh, Rabigh, Asir, Najran and Jizan.

The operations reportedly combined ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones and targeted strategic military, aviation and energy-related sites, underscoring Ansarullah's continued ability to carry the confrontation deep into Saudi territory.

The battlefield developments mark a significant escalation in Yemen's war against Saudi aggression, with Yemeni forces simultaneously advancing on the ground in Ta'izz and striking strategic targets deep inside the kingdom.
