U-17 Team Football Team Defeats Iraq 3-0
TEHRAN - Iran’s U-17 football team has defeated their Iraqi counterparts 3-0 in the first friendly match of their training camp in Iraq.
the Iranian U-17 team, currently in Iraq for a training camp, faced the host nation’s U-17 squad on Monday in their opening friendly match at the Sharar Haidar Stadium in Baghdad.
Iran’s opening goal came in the 24th minute from a corner kick; an Iraqi player inadvertently put the ball into his own net, giving Iran the lead via an own goal.
In the 72nd minute, Abdhusseini scored Iran’s second goal from the penalty spot.
Iran’s third goal was scored in the 86th minute, sealing a 3-0 victory for the Iranian team.
