Ghalibaf: Caucasus Must Not Become Arena for Geopolitical Rivalry
TEHRAN — Iranian Parliament Speaker Muhammad-Bagher Ghalibaf told Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan here on Monday that Tehran and Yerevan can play a constructive role in the Caucasus, warning the region “must not become a arena for geopolitical competition by outside powers.”
Mirzoyan said Armenia “will not allow any action against Iran from its soil,” calling bilateral ties strategic.
