BEIRUT (Dispatches) -- Israeli forces wounded a Lebanese soldier and three civilians in a strike on an army vehicle on Wednesday, as artillery and helicopter assaults hit multiple towns in continued violation of a disgraceful U.S.-brokered framework agreement.
The Lebanese Army Command said a soldier sustained serious injuries and three civilians were wounded when an Israeli drone targeted an army vehicle in Nabatieh al-Fawqa, according to official statements. 
A Lebanese Red Cross source told Xinhua that one of the injured was in critical condition.
The strike came amid a broader wave of Israeli attacks across the south. Lebanese security sources reported intermittent artillery shelling on the towns of Hadatha and Baraachit in the Bint Jbeil district, while a Merkava tank fired two shells toward a house in the al-Deir area of Baraachit at dawn. 
Israeli forces carried out two explosions in the woodlands of Beit Yahoun and Aita al-Jabal.
Further south, Israeli helicopters strafed the towns of Mefidoun and Zawtar al-Sharqiyah with heavy machine gun fire, while artillery bombardment targeted Kfar Tebnit and Zawtar al-Sharqiyah in the Nabatieh district. 
In al-Mansouri, Israeli forces continued hostile actions after blowing up most of the town’s homes, detonating its wells and cutting off the water network.
UNIFIL reported that Israeli drones, fighter jets and helicopters violated Lebanese airspace 143 times between Friday and Sunday, while recording 166 projectile trajectories all attributed to the Israeli military. 
The peacekeeping mission detected no rocket or artillery launches from Hezbollah or other armed groups during that period.
The attacks persist despite a framework agreement signed on June 26 under U.S. mediation, which has become a pretext for Israel to expand its total destruction of south Lebanon.  
Lebanese authorities say Israeli attacks have killed at least 4,386 people, injured 12,407 others, and displaced more than one million since early March.
Hezbollah has rejected the humiliating agreement, while Lebanese officials warn that the continued occupation and strikes threaten to create a dangerous security vacuum.
Lebanon has urged the UN to reconsider the withdrawal of UNIFIL, whose mandate is due to expire at the end of this year.
UNICEF warned Wednesday that four in five households in Lebanon are struggling to afford basic necessities, with 22 percent reporting children had gone to bed hungry in the previous two weeks. 
The agency estimated 770,000 children have experienced psychological distress over the past six months.
