TEHRAN -- The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has marked the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, declaring that his “pure blood” has become a “gushing spring of power” within the Resistance and that his strategic path continues to guide the fight against U.S. and Israeli aggression.
In a statement, the IRGC described Nasrallah as “not merely a leader; he was the strategic architect of the modern Resistance, a strategist on the battlefield and in diplomacy, and a living embodiment of the unbreakable bond among the region’s nations of Resistance”. 
The IRGC said he elevated resistance from a mere tactic into an intellectual, identity-based and civilizational framework,” proving that “resistance is not merely a reaction, but a strategic choice and a dignified, power-building way of life”.
The IRGC emphasized that Nasrallah’s influence was trans-regional, extending from Lebanon and Palestine to Yemen, Iraq, and Syria, where his voice became the “awakened conscience of the Islamic Ummah”. 
He firmly believed that the resistance is a single, unified front, and that victory in any part of this front is victory for all.
Describing his leadership era as “the most glorious and proud chapter in Lebanon’s history,” the IRGC credited Nasrallah with bringing the resistance from the margins to the center of regional equations and shattering the “myth of the Zionist regime’s invincibility”. 
The IRGC affirmed that his path is being continued with “utmost glory, honor, and power” by his successor, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei also issued a statement Sunday, saying Iran and the Resistance Front will continue to achieve “victory and dignity”.
The Foreign Ministry issued its own statement honoring Nasrallah as an “unparalleled model of courage and insight in the face of occupation”. 
It condemned the “heinous and unforgivable crime” of his assassination and reaffirmed Iran’s “principled position of supporting Lebanon’s independence, territorial integrity, sovereignty and national unity”.
The IRGC renewed its pledge to the martyred leaders of the Resistance, including Nasrallah and General Abbas Nilforoushan.
“Supporting the Resistance front, defending the rights of the oppressed, and standing firm until the complete liberation of Al-Quds is the eternal, national, and human mission of the powerful IRGC,” it said.
