TEHARN - Ramin Kashef-Azar, CEO of Imam Khomeini Airport City, said that no new flight routes have been announced for cancellation by foreign countries at present, apart from already canceled flights, including those to the United Arab Emirates, Iraq and Georgia.
 He added that there were no flights to Saudi Arabia even before the announcement of the new restrictions.
He said that flights are currently operating to Turkey, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Pakistan and other destinations, while officials from Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization are negotiating to reopen closed flight routes.
He added that both outbound and return flights are currently being operated at Imam Khomeini Airport without any problems and that there are no issues in this regard.
