DAMASCUS (Dispatches) -- Israeli occupation forces carried out multiple incursions into southern Syria on Saturday, firing on civilians and searching homes, while Syrian authorities reported a deadly grenade attack in the northwest and the new takfiri regime pursued diplomatic outreach abroad.
Israeli forces opened fire above homes in the village of Trinjeh in the northern Quneitra countryside, with gunfire coming from a tank positioned on Tal al-Hamriya, according to the Syrian SANA news agency. 
Three Israeli military vehicles entered the town of al-Rafid in the southern countryside, where forces searched several homes and beat an elderly man before withdrawing.
A separate Israeli force entered Jabata al-Khashab in northern Quneitra, with no immediate reports of casualties or arrests. 
In the western Dara’a countryside, an Israeli unit of three vehicles entered the Yarmouk Basin through the Abu al-Ghaithar gate and approached a cattle herder accompanied by his children, all under ten years old. Israeli personnel fired into the air and toward the cattle before leaving minutes later.
The incursions followed an Israeli operation Friday in Wadi al-Raqad, where forces fired toward a shepherd and his children. 
Syrian authorities under the former Daesh and Al-Qaeda deputy Abu Muhammad al-Jolani have repeatedly condemned the incursions as violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement and demanded a full Israeli withdrawal, but they have taken no tangible action which has left the Zionist regime aggressively emboldened.
Under Jolani, Israeli troops have regularly invaded Syrian territory and harassed local residents, with his administration taking no action in response. 
Western powers, meanwhile, have embraced Jolani for his deference to Israel—propping him up despite his inaction—effectively suppressing any resistance inside Syria to the Israeli occupation and allowing Israel to pursue its colonial designs in Syria and the wider region.
Jolani’s security forces arrested two suspects after a grenade was thrown into a home in the village of Martein in Idlib province, killing two children and injuring another child and their mother, the Internal Security Forces said.
The suspects were detained less than 24 hours after the attack. Investigations into the motive are ongoing.
In Baku, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Jolani’s economy and industry minister Muhammad al-Shaar to discuss trade, investment, energy and infrastructure cooperation. Azerbaijani natural gas supplies to Syria were cited as a key example of practical bilateral cooperation.
