Report: Iran’s September Oil Sales Hit Two-Year High

TEHRAN – While foreign media have reported uncertainty over Iran’s oil sales due to sanctions, Iran’s oil sales in September reached their highest monthly level in two years.
According to the latest figures, Iran’s oil sales exceeded $3 billion in September, marking the highest monthly level in the past two years.
According to a Reuters report last month, China is the largest buyer of Iranian oil, while Iran is the largest seaborne oil supplier to China.
Earlier, a foreign media outlet reported that Iranian oil tankers were facing uncertainty due to sanctions, but informed sources denied the report.
According to figures from Iran’s Plan and Budget Organization, the country’s oil revenues have so far exceeded the budget ceiling, giving the government greater room to import goods and advance national projects.
