ZAGREB (Dispatches) -- Croatian side Rijeka advanced to the Round of 16 of the national cup on Saturday after a 6-0 away victory over Vrbovec, playing with a numerical advantage for nearly the entire match.
Jakov Puljić scored twice, while Alfonso Barco, Muhammad Mohebi, Niko Janković, and Ante Matej Jurić also found the net.
Rijeka played with an extra man from the 6th minute following a red card shown to Vrbovec’s Omotayo Abraham Aya Dansou.
In the next round, Rijeka will play an away match against Karlovac.
