THERAN - Following the draw ceremony for the Asian Games table tennis tournament, the opponents for Noshad Alamian and Benyamin Faraji have been determined.
 The draw for the men’s singles event took place; Noshad Alamian, the national team captain, will face Moosa Ahmed of the Maldives in the opening round. In the subsequent round, Alamian will play against the winner of the match between players from Laos and Singapore.
Benyamin Faraji, Iran’s other national team player, will face Kulapu-Wavadu of Sri Lanka in the first round of the 2026 Nagoya Asian Games singles competition; should he win, he will advance to play the winner of the match between India and Malaysia.
The Asian Games singles events will take place following the conclusion of the team competitions.
Iran’s representatives are scheduled to face their opponents on Tuesday, the 31st of Shahrivar, at 11:00 AM local time.
