TEHRAN – Iran’s Hussein Vafaei is set to face a representative from Hong Kong in the qualifying round of the 2026 International Championship snooker tournament. 
Ka-Wai Cheung from Hong Kong is Vafaei’s opponent in the qualifiers for the 2026 International Championship, the Public Relations Department of the Bowling and Billiards Federation said. 
 The match between Vafaei and his Hong Kong opponent will take place on Friday in Leicester, England. If Vafaei win this match, he will advance to the main draw of the 2026 International Championship.
