Interior Minister Heads to Turkey for Talks on Security Cooperation

TEHRAN – Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni left for Ankara on Tuesday for a two-day visit to discuss bilateral ties, particularly police cooperation, counter-terrorism efforts and border security, Interior Ministry said.
Momeni is scheduled to meet Turkish Interior Minister Mustafa Ciftci during the visit.
The talks will focus on strengthening cooperation between the police forces of Iran and Turkey, combating terrorism and enhancing security along their shared border.
Momeni is also due to visit the Turkish Police Academy during his stay in Ankara.
