THERAN -  Iran lost to Kyrgyzstan 2-1 at the 2026 CAFA U17 Women’s Championship on Tuesday
The Iranian players faced Kyrgyzstan in their opening match of the CAFA tournament; the game ended in a 2–1 victory for Kyrgyzstan.
The Iranian youth girls’ team’s second match, against Tajikistan, is scheduled for Thursday, September 16, at 14:30.
The 2026 CAFA U-17 Girls’ Championship—featuring teams from Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan—is being hosted by Uzbekistan in Tashkent from September 13 to 20.
