Bahrain Refuses to Attend Oman Talks With Iran
MANAMA (Dispatches) -- Bahrain announced it will not participate in a proposed ministerial meeting in Oman on Monday regarding the Strait of Hormuz, declaring it will not be party to any collective meeting involving Iran before diplomatic relations between the two countries are restored.
The Bahraini Foreign Ministry said the position had been communicated to Oman through official channels, stressing it does not diminish Bahrain’s appreciation for Omani efforts.
