GAZA/RAMALLAH (Dispatches) -- An Israeli drone strike killed two Palestinians and wounded 13 others in Gaza City on Sunday, while in the occupied West Bank a Palestinian man was brutally beaten by Israeli settlers, the latest in a wave of escalating violence.
The strike hit a civilian vehicle in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood of western Gaza City, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent. Witnesses said the drone fired at least two missiles, killing the two occupants immediately and injuring passersby. 
Local medical staff told Reuters that the bodies were dismembered by the explosion and urged people to provide information to help identify the dead.
The strike marks a further violation of the U.S.-backed ceasefire that took effect in October 2025. Gaza’s Health Ministry said 1,369 Palestinians have been killed and 4,627 injured since the truce began, while the overall death toll since October 2023 has reached 73,783, with 174,738 wounded.
In the West Bank, Mahmoud Abu Radwan was attacked by Israeli settlers on Saturday evening in the village of Beitillu and evacuated to Al-Ishraqati Hospital in Ramallah. 
He suffered severe contusions and deep wounds to his head, chest and abdomen, according to the humanitarian organization Occupation in the Eye. Footage showed armed settlers carrying clubs leaving the area.
The assault came amid a broader surge in settler violence. Overnight and early Sunday, settlers attacked homes and agricultural land in Yasuf, east of Salfit, firing live ammunition and throwing stones. 
In Beita, south of Nablus, settlers launched attacks on neighborhoods under heavy military protection, and residents confronted them amid tear gas and gunfire. 
Settlers also attacked farmers and herders in Masafer Yatta, in the Hebron governorate, to prevent them from accessing their lands. In occupied East Al-Quds, around 480 settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and performed Talmudic rituals.
Israeli forces conducted raids across the West Bank overnight, kidnapping at least eight Palestinians in Jenin governorate, two children in Bethlehem, and two brothers in Tammun, south of Tubas, according to Wafa. 
In Hebron (Al-Khalil), Israeli forces continued to impose a curfew on the Jaber neighborhood for a second day, preventing students from reaching schools under the pretext of securing Jewish holidays.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) warned in March that the number of Palestinians injured in settler attacks had reached its highest level in 20 years. 
At least 82 Palestinians, including 19 children, have been killed and around 1,900 injured by Israeli forces or settlers in the West Bank since the beginning of 2026, according to OCHA data.
