‘Illegal’: Embassy in London Condemns UK Sanctions on Iran
LONDON — The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London expressed deep regret on Tuesday over the British government’s decision to impose fresh sanctions against the Iranian people, describing the move as illegal and contrary to the mutual interests of both countries.
In a statement, the embassy declared: “Such illegal sanctions are incompatible with the shared interests of Iran and the United Kingdom.”
