BEIRUT (Dispatches) — Israeli airstrikes across southern Lebanon on Monday martyred at least 27 people, including children, women, and paramedics, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health. 
The attacks came despite a disgraceful ceasefire agreement brokered by the U.S. between the Lebanese government and the terrorist regime of Israel that has been in place since late June.
The deadliest attack occurred after midnight in the town of Kfar Rumman, near Nabatieh. Israeli warplanes struck a three-story residential building belonging to the Farhat family, completely destroying it. Lebanese authorities reported nine people were martyred in the strike, including two infants.
In a separate attack, an Israeli drone targeted a civilian vehicle in Kfar Rumman, killing two paramedics from the Islamic Risala Scout Association who were inside — Ali Shahrour and Hadi Farhat. 
The Lebanese Health Ministry said the strikes on the town killed a total of 11 people and wounded 13 others, including children and women.
The strikes came without any prior evacuation warning from the terrorist Israeli military.
Additional airstrikes hit Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Arab Salim on Monday, where a home was destroyed. The genocidal Israeli military also issued an evacuation warning for a building in Deir al-Zahrani before destroying it roughly 22 minutes later.
The intensification of attacks follows Israel’s recent claim of “operational control” over the Ali al-Taher Hill, a strategic area overlooking Nabatieh.  
On Sunday, Israeli strikes had already martyred at least seven people across southern Lebanon, destroyed an out-of-service hospital in Nabatieh al-Fawqa, and damaged government premises. One of the strikes in Nabatieh al-Fawqa “totally destroyed” the Ghandour hospital.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun urged Washington and the international community to intervene, calling the attacks “a dangerous escalation... reaching Lebanese state institutions” and health facilities. 
He said Sunday’s strikes “undermine the framework agreement” and called on the United States “to urgently act to stop these violations”.
Minister of State for Administrative Reform Fadi Makki called upon the international community and “freedom-loving peoples worldwide” to take effective action to end Israel’s “relentless aggression.” 
Makki condemned the killing of civilians — including women and children — and the destruction of homes and civilian infrastructure. He denounced the recent strike on Salah Ghandour Hospital in Bint Jbeil as “the height of the barbarity and vileness of the Israeli military”.
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri also denounced the attacks, describing them as casting a “bloodstained ballot box” over the region.
According to Lebanese authorities, more than 4,300 people have been martyred since March. Entire southern villages have been erased by the Israeli army, and approximately 1.5 million Lebanese citizens have been displaced.
Zionist forces have admitted to the deaths of 40 soldiers and a contractor since beginning their latest ground invasion. The Lebanese Health Ministry says Monday’s death toll of 27 is expected to rise further as search and rescue operations continue.
