Khatun Bam Learn Rivals at Asian Women’s Champions League

TEHRAN – Iran’s women football team, Khatun Bam learned their opponents for the 2026-27 Champions League league phase on Thursday, as a draw in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
 The Khatun Bam team representing Iran was grouped in Group A with North Korea’s Nagorno-Karabakh, Japan’s Leongsa Kobe and Myanmar’s Ayutthaya.
The tournament will be held with the participation of 12 teams in 3 groups of 4 teams, with the top 2 teams from each group advancing to the knockout stage, and the top 2 third-placed teams will also advance to the quarter-finals. The group stage will be held from November 1 to 6, and then after the introduction of the top 8 teams of the competition, the quarter-finals and semi-finals will be held as single matches to determine the finalist of this tournament.
Group A: North Korea’s Nagohyang, Japan’s Leonsa Kobe, Iran’s Khatun and Myanmar’s Ayutthaya
Group B: South Korea’s Hwacheon, Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City, India’s East Bengal and North Korea’s National Defense
Group C: Australia’s Melbourne City, China’s Jingtan, Philippines’ Kaya Iloilo and Uzbekistan’s Nasaf Qarshi
