Iran’s Rising Int’l Stature as Trump Goes Down the Drain

The stupidity of US policies, especially its self-defeatist war against Iran and suicidal economic sanctions got a thorough thrashing Tuesday by a grouping that accounts for 43 of the world’s population and 23 percent of global economy.
The Bishkek Declaration in the capital of the Central Asian republic of Kyrgyzstan issued by member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) condemned “military strikes on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which have resulted in numerous civilian casualties and significant damage to the country’s economy”.
Signed by leaders from across Eurasia, including the president of Russia, China, Iran, Turkey and host Kyrgyzstan, the prime ministers of India and Pakistan, and senior officials of other member countries, it added that “Such actions violate the principles and norms of international law and the UN Charter and create serious risks to international peace, security and stability.”
It was smashing slap on the face of US president, the terrorist Donald Trump on the 25th anniversary of SCO, which signaled its growing influence as a formidable counterweight to Western-dominated global institutions.
On the economic front, the Bishkek Declaration outlined a concerted push for reforming the international financial architecture free of the Euro-American banking system available to the Islamic Republic of Iran as well, thereby aborting the recent bid by the US to impose what it calls D-day sanctions on Tehran.
Donald the dotard, who is already being castigated by American officials, including some of his own republican party members, in addition to the turmoil in the war department called Pentagon, where the Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll recently resigned in protest to the Iran War, presently the picture of a brainless idiot.
Last Monday’s resounding retaliation by Iran for Trump’s acts of terrorism in targeting Larak Island has inflicted heavy and irreparable damage to two American military bases in Jordan and one in the UAE.
This is clear indication of the winning spree of Iran and the continued failure of the dastardly US president who despite his innumerable lies is unable to enter the Hormuz Strait, which is complete control of the Islamic Republic’s air and naval forces.
To sum up, there is no face-saving exit from the quagmire of his own making by the criminal in the so-called White House, except to admit defeat. He should follow this up by lifting the blockade, closing down all US military bases in West Asia, pay war reparations to Iran, unfreeze hundreds of billions of dollars of Iranian assets, and pledge never to interfere in the Islamic Republic’s nuclear projects, which the Bishkek Declaration has confirmed as civilian and in accordance with the NPT.
