TEHRAN – Iran’s youth beach wrestling team has claimed the championship title at the Beach Wrestling World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, after earning six medals across two days of competition.
The Iranian squad delivered a strong performance at the global event, held on August 25–26, 2026, in Baku, and secured the overall team title.
The medalists for Iran are as follows:

Gold Medals:
• Kiarash Torabi (70 kg)
•  Amir Saleh Javidani (90 kg)
 
Silver Medals:
• Houman Kalhori (70 kg)
• Reza Jalilian (80 kg)
 
Bronze Medals:
• Amir Ali Domirkolai (60 kg)
• Amir Ali Amini (90 kg)
Twenty teams from different countries took part in the event, and Iran finished first by collecting six medals — two gold, two silver, and two bronze — and registering 85 points to stand on top of the podium.
