Ansarullah Vows Solidarity With Iran, Warns Region Against Joining U.S. Sanctions

SANA’A - The leader of Yemen’s Ansarallah movement on Tuesday reaffirmed his country’s steadfast solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, declaring that Iran and the unified resistance front achieved a “great victory” in confronting recent U.S. and Israeli aggression.
In a televised address before mass rallies marking Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi said the Axis of Resistance has overcome the military and political calculations of the aggressors and registered valuable victories to preserve regional security and territorial integrity.
“We have witnessed the victory of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the unified front of the Resistance in the face of the aggressive actions of the United States and the Zionist regime,” al-Houthi said.
The Ansarallah leader warned that Zionist greed and maneuvers under the banner of “changing the Middle East” and establishing “Greater Israel” threaten the entire Islamic nation.
He said aggression against Iran and Lebanon, violations of Syria’s sovereignty, and the targeting of Yemen all form part of an American-Israeli conspiracy aimed at redrawing the region’s map and subjugating its peoples.
“Zionism targets the Islamic nation and seeks to control our peoples, enslave and humiliate them, occupy their homelands, and plunder their resources,” al-Houthi said.
He stressed that Muslims must confront this project and free themselves from subordination to “forces of

hemselves from subordination to “forces of evil,” represented by the Zionist movement and its Western backers.
Turning to Yemen’s domestic situation, al-Houthi condemned Saudi Arabia’s continued blockade, which he described as unjustifiable oppression that ultimately serves Zionist interests.
He said Riyad is plundering Yemen’s national resources, obstructing airport operations for patients and travelers, and opening the airspace of Mecca and Medina to Zionists.
He warned that Saudi efforts to escalate tensions, mobilize militarily, and plan for Yemen’s partition constitute ongoing aggression against the Yemeni people.
“In response to these oppressive acts, the Republic of Yemen, utilizing all legitimate means and based on its legal rights, will implement the ‘siege-for-siege’ equation, and the aggressor side will bear full responsibility for the consequences,” al-Houthi declared.
The Ansarallah leader highlighted the fruits of resistance, pointing to Iran’s success in confronting American-Israeli aggression and the stability of the jihad and resistance axis across Lebanon, Gaza, Yemen, and Iraq.
“These successes were achieved despite the enemies’ vast military and political resources,” al-Houthi said, adding that the strategy of jihad, steadfastness, and reliance on the will of the people had proven capable of overcoming the aggressors’ calculations.
He urged the entire Islamic nation to join the resistance axis and emphasized continued support for the Islamic resistance in Lebanon, Palestine, and other fronts.
Separately, Yemen’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulwahid Abu Ras dismissed new U.S. sanctions on Iran as part of a psychological war adopted after Washington failed to pursue the military option.
He warned regional countries against becoming “tools” for enforcing unjust U.S. measures against the Iranian people.
Al-Houthi called on the Islamic nation to re-evaluate its realities and strengthen its conscious connection to divine teachings, urging liberation from all forms of dependence on corrupt forces led by Zionism and its Western followers.
He stressed Yemen’s right to an end to the brutal siege and the cessation of Saudi aggression, which he said has continued for over a decade under U.S. supervision.
Based on Qur’anic teachings on defense and retaliation, he called on Yemenis to remain steadfast, maintain national unity, and intensify their efforts until their legitimate rights are fully realized.
