Report: Iran ‘Reviewing Invitation’ to Join Mecca Pact
TEHRAN -- Iran is reviewing an invitation to join the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement signed by Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkiye, the head of the Iranian parliament’s official news agency said in an interview with Al Mayadeen on Sunday.
Mehdi Rahimi stated Iran had received an invitation to join the agreement and was currently considering the proposal.
