DUBAI (Dispatches) -- A missile threat was detected in the United Arab Emirates, prompting air-raid sirens to sound across Dubai. The UAE Ministry of Defense said the country’s air defense systems had detected the threat.  The UAE emergency management authority also confirmed the incident and urged citizens and residents to remain in safe locations and closely follow official updates. Authorities have not yet provided further details about the origin of the threat, the missile’s trajectory, or any potential damage or casualties.
