TEHRAN - Iran’s national para archery team, comprising six archers, is set to travel to India to compete in the World Series event following a training camp in Karaj.
The national para archery team will launch a preparatory training camp on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, aimed at readying athletes for the Nagoya Asian Para Games in Japan as well as the upcoming World Series in India. The camp will run through August 31 in the city of Karaj.
The roster of athletes called up for this training camp includes Somayeh Rahimi, Hadi Nouri, Gholamreza Rahimi, Mohaddeseh Babahabib, Amir Muhammad Barani, and Farzaneh Asgari.
The archers will train under the guidance of head coach Zahra Nemati, alongside assistant coaches Mohammad Saleh Palizban and Amin Alikhani.
At the conclusion of the training camp, the national team will depart directly for India to take part in the World Series competition.
