TEHRAN – The Jask desalination plant has been fully restored and brought back online less than 24 hours after sustaining damage from a projectile during a U.S. military aggression, Iranian officials announced. The rapid repair successfully averted a widespread water crisis, ensuring an uninterrupted drinking water supply to 20 regional villages.
 Amini, CEO of the Water and Wastewater Engineering Company of Iran, highly praised the operation, calling the swift restoration a testament to the resilience, readiness, and jihadist spirit of the country’s water industry personnel.
“Following the damage inflicted upon the Jask desalination facilities, initial technical assessments indicated that temporarily repairing the pumping station and restoring the complex to the grid would take at least a week,” Amini stated. “However, through round-the-clock efforts, rapid coordination, and the direct field deployment of specialists, the facility was brought back into operation within just 24 hours.”
The CEO emphasized that the rapid intervention prevented a major disruption in the local drinking water supply, safeguarding services for more than 10,000 residents living across the 20 affected villages in Jask County.
Expressing his gratitude to the staff of the Hormozgan Province Water and Wastewater Company and all technical teams on the ground, Amini stressed that maintaining vital public services under the most challenging conditions demonstrates the absolute commitment of the industry’s workforce.
He concluded by reiterating that even in times of crisis, water sector personnel remain fully deployed to ensure the stability of the drinking water network and protect public well-being.
