THERAN – Ira’s sitting volleyball team will compete at the 2026 Sitting Volleyball World Championships – Men’s event, in search of a quota for the Paralympics.
The schedule of the national men’s sitting volleyball team’s competitions at the World Championship in China has been determined.
The World Sitting Volleyball Championships will be held in Hangzhou, China from July 9 to 16, and Iran’s men and women national teams will also be compate at the event. ️

The finalist teams of this round of competitions in both the men’s and women’s sections will qualify for the 2028 Los Angeles Paralympics. ️
The grouping of this round of competitions is as follows: - Men’s competitions Group 1: China, Germany, Canada, Thailand
Group 2: Egypt, USA, Ukraine, Rwanda
Group 3: Brazil, Kazakhstan, Croatia, Iraq
Group 4: Iran, Bosnia, Poland, Japan
 The Iranian women’s national team is in Group A alongside China, Kenya, and Rwanda, and once the group stage schedule for the women’s competitions is determined, the competitions of our country’s women’s national team will also be announced.
