THERAN – Iranian Aseman Airline resumes domestic flights after a 63-day hiatus.
Aseman Airline will operate its first flight on the Tehran-Shiraz-Tehran route today, May 12, 2026, after a 63-day hiatus.
This flight, which was suspended due to the U.S.- Israeli war against Iran, will operate with a Fokker 100 aircraft and flight number 3790.
According to the airline, flights to Abadan, Mashhad and other cities will also resume in the coming days.
Meanwhile, flights between Islamabad and Tehran resume after 2-month suspension.
Pakistani sources said flights from Tehran to Islamabad resumed on Thursday after a two-month flight hiatus imposed after the start of the U.S.-Israeli aggression on Iran on February 28.
Officials said flights between Islamabad and Tehran in both directions had been fully resumed, marking a major step towards reviving the route for passengers, companies and separated families.
