Igor Sergeev Completes Signing With Persepolis
TEHRAN – Iran’s Persepolis football club has completed the signing of Uzbek international forward Igor Vladimirovich Sergeev in the January transfer window.
The 32-year-old striker joined Persepolis from Pakhtakor and has signed an 18-month contract with the Tehran-based club.
Sergeev will wear the No. 19 shirt for the Reds.
Persepolis is considered among the favorites to win the 2025–26 Iran Professional League (IPL) season as it continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new campaign.
