TEHRAN – Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in a message has lauded the great performance of the Iranian female Muay Thai fighter Fereshteh Hassanzadeh in the International Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
In 45-50 kg category, Hassanzadeh stood against Moroccan rival in the final and received her a medal.
After winning her silver medal, Hassanzadeh wished she could have dedicated a gold medal to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, but instead she dedicates this silver medal to Ayatollah Khamenei.
In his message, Ayatollah Khamenei conveyed his greeting and gratitude to her and said beyond the gold medal, it is her determination, perseverance, faith, and self-confidence.
