TEHRAN – Iran’s Defense Ministry spokesman Reza Talai-Nik said the Gaza ceasefire represents a victory for the resistance and a defeat for Israel, describing the agreement as a forced concession by the “criminal Zionist regime.”  He criticized the U.S. for backing Israel and said the “U.S.-Israel axis” has lost credibility under popular pressure. Talai-Nik also highlighted Iran’s military self-sufficiency, noting that reliance on foreign arms has dropped sharply since the Islamic Revolution. He said Iranian experts and knowledge-based firms have produced over 1,000 defense systems, achieving 90% self-reliance despite sanctions.
