TEHRAN – Iran outclassed Bahrain 37-19 at the 2025 Asian Men’s U-17 Handball Championship semifinals Tuesday night.
In the other semifinal, South Korea narrowly defeated the Qataris 36-35.
Iran will play South Korea in the final match on Thursday.
The ongoing Asian tournament acts as a continental qualifier for the worlds, which are to be held in Morocco from October 24 to November 1.
Iran not only advanced to the final, but they also booked a berth in the IHF Men’s U-17 Handball World Championship 2025.
