Envoy: Iran, Saudi Arabia to Shape Future of Region
TEHRAN — Iran’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Alireza Enayati on Tuesday underscored the importance of strategic ties between Tehran and Riyadh, saying the two countries will shape the future of the region.
He described the relationship between Iran and Saudi Arabia as a model for regional cooperation and a guarantee of security and sustainable development in West Asia. “The remarkable progress achieved in bilateral relations in a short period is the result of the firm resolve of both countries,” Enayati said. “We have covered a long journey in a very brief time and achieved results beyond expectations.”
