Iran Condemns Drone Strike on Mosque in Sudan
TEHRAN – Iran’s Foreign Ministry on Sunday condemned a drone attack on a mosque in the city of El Fasher, Sudan, which killed and injured several innocent worshippers, calling it a clear violation of international humanitarian law.
In a statement, the ministry expressed condolences to the victims’ families and wished a speedy recovery for the injured. The statement emphasized the urgent need to halt attacks on civilians and critical infrastructure in Sudan and called for resolving the ongoing crisis through Sudanese-led dialogue.
