TEHRAN - Iranian knowledge-based companies and scientific centers are due to participate in the Web Summit 2025 to show the country’s new technologies alongside global innovations.
The Web Summit 2025 will be held from November 11 to 14 and is known as one of the largest global technology gatherings. Last year, over 5,000 startups, experts, and investors participated in the summit, and this year, a large gathering of activists in fields like microservices, artificial intelligence, the new internet, energy, security, and emerging technologies is expected to attend.
In addition to presenting the latest technological achievements, this event will also hold workshops and specialized meetings with the participation of knowledge-based companies and international experts. It also provides valuable opportunities to introduce Iran’s technological capabilities and establish connections between domestic startups and foreign investors.
The active presence of Iranian scientific and technological representatives in such events can provide a suitable platform for introducing national capacities and developing global interactions.
Web Summit 2025 is an annual technology conference held in Lisbon, Portugal. Founded in 2009 by Paddy Cosgrave, Web Summit was held in Dublin, Ireland until 2016, when it moved to Lisbon.
The conference’s topics are focused on internet technology, emerging technologies, marketing and venture capitalism. Web Summit’s partners range from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, with attendees representing all levels and sectors of the global high technology industry.
