TEHRAN – Iran’s Esteghlal 
football club completed the signing of Spanish forward Munir El Haddadi Mohamed.
El Haddadi, 30, most recently played for the Segunda División side Leganés.
The forward had played for Barcelona from 2014 and 2018. 
Esteghlal has hired the striker on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
El Haddadi was born in Spain to Moroccan parents and holds Spanish citizenship, but he also represents the Morocco national team internationally.
He has represented Morocco’s national football team 11 times and scored two goals.
