Turkey Denies Role in Alleged Assassination of Ben Gvir
ANKARA (Dispatches) -- Turkey has denied any involvement in a plot to assassinate Israel’s extremist minister Itamar Ben Gvir, deeming the allegations circulated in Israeli media as a “deliberate disinformation campaign” against the country.
“The reference to [Turkey] in certain Israeli media reports about an alleged assassination plot against an Israeli minister is the result of a deliberate disinformation campaign targeting our country,” a statement from the Turkish presidency’s Center for Combating Disinformation said.
