TEHRAN – Iranian athletes won three gold medals in the World Boccia Championships in Kazakhstan and ranked second in the world.
The Iranian team participated in the competitions with a composition of eight athletes, including four female athletes and four male athletes.
Maryam Maleki, Hussein Esmaili and Musa Raofian were among the champions who secured the gold medal for Iran in the event.
Iranian team ranked second in the world after South Korea, winning 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals and one bronze.
