Noshad Climbs to 82nd Place After Winning Czech Championship
TEHRAN - Iranian table tennis player Noshad Alamiyan, the captain of Iranian table tennis, has moved up 24 spots to secure 82nd position in World Tennis Table as announced by the governing body on its official website on Tuesday.
The International Table Tennis Federation announced the world rankings for the 36th week of 2025. In this ranking, Noshad Alamiyan was able to have a double-digit ranking again by applying the points from the Czech Championship. He won the Czech Championship and move up 24 places to 82nd in the world rankings. Nima Alamiyan moved up 19 places and Benjamin Faraji rose five places.
The doubles team of Noshad and Nima Alamiyan had previously dropped out of the world doubles rankings, but after finishing runner-up in the Czech Championship, they were ranked 132nd in the world.
