Niavaran Palace Reopens After Two-Month Closure

TEHRAN -- Starting Saturday, the exclusive Niavaran Palace—closed since the onset of the 12-day war on Iran —will reopen its doors to the public, inviting visitors back into one of the country’s most iconic architectural treasures.
According to the Niavaran Cultural and Historical Complex’s public relations office, the gradual reopening marks a significant step in restoring access to the diverse and rich heritage housed within the complex. 
The Niavaran Palace, a masterpiece of contemporary Iranian architecture, has been silent for two months but will once again welcome guests eager to explore its storied halls and intricate design.
The reopening follows the activation of other key parts of the complex, including the Ahmad Shah Pavilion Museum, the exclusive vintage car collection, and the historic garden grounds. Visitors can once again immerse themselves in the cultural and historical tapestry woven into every corner of the Niavaran estate.
Open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with last admissions at 4 p.m., the palace and its surrounding museums offer a unique window into Iran’s recent past and its artistic achievements, beckoning travelers and locals alike to rediscover its timeless allure.
