On the fifth day of the Chengdu World Games, Yaseman Bagherzadeh took the honors after beating her Chinese opponent in the final contest of women’s minus 70-kilogram category of the Sanda section.
Earlier on Monday, Bagherzadeh had overcome a representative from Bermuda to march into the title showpiece.
In 60 kg category, Soheila Mansouriyan collected the bronze medal in the women’s minus 60-kilogram section with a 2-0 victory over her opponent from Hong Kong.
