President: No Power Able to Subdue Iranian People

TEHRAN -- President Masoud Pezeshkian said Thursday that no foreign power will be able to subdue the Iranian people or obstruct the country’s progress as long as national unity and coherence are preserved.
Speaking during a public ceremony in the northwestern city of Zanjan, Pezeshkian praised the “honorable defense” mounted by the Iranian people, Armed Forces, and security institutions during the recent war, commending their resilience and strategic response.
“The great efforts of the Armed Forces — including the Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) — proved that, despite sanctions and external threats, Iran’s defenders successfully targeted both the Zionist regime’s Iron Dome and advanced American military assets,” he said.
The president underscored the importance of national sovereignty, asserting that unity between the people and the military apparatus has served as a powerful deterrent against foreign aggression.
Meanwhile, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said earlier this week that the 12-day conflict demonstrated the unmatched strength and resolve of the Islamic Republic. He said the episode showcased Iran’s strategic capabilities and the deep-rooted foundations of its system.
“The root of hostility toward Iran lies in the nation’s faith, knowledge, and unity,” Ayatollah Khamenei stated, emphasizing that Iran’s enemies seek to undermine these values but have repeatedly failed.
On June 24, Iranian military operations brought a halt to foreign military escalation following successful retaliatory strikes, with Iran declaring the outcome a firm message to any party seeking to test the country’s red lines.
