Arab League Ought to Discern Friend From Foe

Iran is hosting the Fourth Tehran Dialogue Forum (TDF) to promote peace and understanding in the region and the world with prominent international figures calling for nuclear-free West Asia.
While the Islamic Republic pursues a peaceful nuclear programme stressing that nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction have no place in its policies, the US, the world’s most dangerously nuclear-armed country with a doomsday arsenal, turns a blind eye to the estimated 400 nuclear warheads possessed by the illegal Zionist entity.
Israel, which for the past year-and-a-half has subjected Gaza to an unabated genocide, continues its atrocities against Palestinians because of the diplomatic and trade ties with some members of the Arab League that held its 34th summit in Baghdad.
Unfortunately, other than the vague call for end of the Zionist engineered holocaust in Gaza, the Arab resolution issued from the Iraqi capital did not denounce the crimes against humanity of Israel and failed to mention the danger posed to the region by Israel’s nuclear arsenal.
On the contrary, the resolution again tried to provoke Iran by referring to three of Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf as disputed territory, when the fact of the matter is that the said islands – Bu Musa, Greater Tumb, and Lesser Tumb – have never been part of any Arab state.
This means that unlike the TDF in Tehran, the Arab League meeting in Baghdad functioned in accordance with the wishes of the US, although the only positive point was the absence of the terrorist leader of the new regime in Damascus.
It seems the Arab League had invited him, but dared not step onto Iraqi soil, where once Ahmad ash-Sharaa or al-Julani captured for his terrorist activities served a 5-year jail sentence.
Iraq’s patriotic groups had warned against his participation and called for his arrest as a wanted terrorist having the blood of the Iraqi and Syrian peoples on his head.
The father of all terrorism, President Donald Trump of the US had personally and publicly met ash-Sharaa in Riyadh and praised his terrorist past.
To sum up, the Arab League needs to discern between friend and foe, and instead of issuing resolutions to irk the brotherly nation of Iran, it should take a firm stance against the US and Israel, as well as the Zionist friends in its midst, such as the current terroristic Syrian regime.
