Yemen’s Heroic Triumph Over the US
By: Kayhan Int’l Staff Writer
In our “Viewpoint” last week we had said, “Yemen has a date with destiny” and referred to the prophecy in Islamic texts of the emergence of the “Yamani” from that land in the end times as:
“A victorious revolutionary participating, along with the “Khorasani” (from Iran), in the campaign for the establishment of the global government of peace, prosperity, and justice of the Awaited Saviour of humanity, Imam Mahdi (AS) and the latter’s lieutenant the Re-Emergent Prophet Jesus (AS).”
It seems we are a step nearer to that internationally historic event of the not so distant future.
This is evident by the US capitulation to the heroic Ansarallah and President Donald Trump’s announcement to end his brutal bombing of Yemen following loss of hundreds of millions of dollars of the most advanced drones and fighter planes, in addition to incurring over 2 billion dollars of constantly mounting expenditure during the military campaign of only a few weeks.
We had also said in our May 6 Viewpoint that “the days of the illegitimate entity called Israel are numbered, and we may be soon witnessing the liberation of Palestine...”
Thanks to the relentless attacks of the Sana’a-based legitimate government of Yemen on Israel’s military and industrial installations in retaliation for the genocide in Gaza, the hour of freedom of the Palestinians is nigh, albeit with many more sacrifices.
The US in its announcement of end of hostilities with Yemen, has left out any mention of the Zionist entity, saying the Ansarallah-Israel confrontation does not concern it.
It means the Americans who had unwittingly intruded into the Red Sea to provide protection to ships from and bound for Israel, and as a result made the supposedly formidable US navy the legitimate target of the government of Yemen, have swallowed their pride and decided to call it a day.
This is indeed a great victory for Yemen’s resistance movement. Its prestige and popularity has now soared sky high to deafening cheers from millions of people of southern Yemen whom divisive forces had tried to pit against their northern brethren on the assumption of US military support.
To the horror of the enemies of the Yemeni nation, however, the breakaway regime in Aden is now a lost cause. This is evident by the chaos in its ranks and resignation of its senior leaders.
Analysts closely following international events were also quick to note that Trump known for theatrics and threats, is showing signs of recovery: Firstly, the end of hostilities with Yemen and secondly his talks with India and Pakistan to stop their potentially dangerous 5-day war following the mediation offered by Iran and the visit of the Iranian foreign minister, Seyyed Abbas Araqchi to Islamabad and New Delhi.
Trump, however, has the chance to become a sane and sensible man, only when he acknowledges the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear project with the legitimate right to enrich uranium to whatever level, degree, and percentage it is required.
If he makes a wrong move, whether during the Tehran-Washington talks underway or whether during his coming visit to West Asia by any geographical distortion regarding the name of the Persian Gulf, he will be damned forever.
The tag of “dotard” will permanently stick to him, along with the label of “international terrorist” for his unpardonable crime in ordering the murder of the Hammers of Terrorism – Iran’s General Qasem Soleimani and Iraq’s Abu Mahdi al-Mohandis.
