TEHRAN -- Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Sunday issued a message over an explosion and fire in southern Iran that killed dozens of people.  “The painful fire incident at the Shahid Rajaei Port is a cause for sorrow and concern. Security and judicial officials are obliged to thoroughly investigate and uncover any negligence or intent, and follow up in accordance with regulations. All officials must consider themselves responsible for preventing bitter and damaging incidents.  “I pray for divine mercy and forgiveness for the victims, patience and serenity for their bereaved families, and a speedy recovery for those injured in this bitter incident. I sincerely thank the generous people who were ready to donate blood to the injured in their moment of need,” the message read.
