Million Strong Marches in US for Trump’s Ouster

It is too early to say whether Donald Trump remains as US president or kicked out of office by the mass protests that reached their peak in all 50 states against his misrule.
Known as the “50501 Movement” the nationwide protests, however, are no flash in the pan, and the serious grievances of the American public against a Chief Executive impeached in his first term in office by the senate, make him a convict and fraudster in the eyes of most of the populace.
This means there is a good chance of his ouster in view of his track record of lies, fraud, immoral behaviour, unwarranted trade war, mismanagement, threats against world nations, and war-mongering.
The date April 19 is the anniversary of the Battle of Lexington and Concord, an event that took place during the American Revolutionary War in 1775, and according to the organizers is a “a historic reminder of resistance to tyranny.”
“50501” is a grassroots movement and first came into prominence on February 5, with a nationwide protest days after Trump’s inauguration.
Since then it has organised several peaceful anti-Trump demonstrations, including the ‘Hands Off’ rally on April 9 attended by millions across the country.
Saturday’s rallies strongly denounced the Trump regime’s abuse of executive power, and the potential misuse of the Insurrection Act of 1807.
The activists carried placards condemning Trump as well as his head of the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Elon Musk, calling for his deportation to his native South Africa.
As per 50501 Movement’s website, the organisation aims to show “that the American working class will not sit idly by as plutocrats rip apart their democratic institutions and civil liberties while undermining the rule of law.”
The April 19 event strongly supported Americans who have lost their jobs, lost access to food (food stamps, pantries struggling to remain open), impacted by the stock market crashing due to tariff.
The 50501 Movement aims to create a ‘social support web’ for Americans as Trump’s policies affect the lives of common people, especially those in marginalised communities.
The regime has come under sharp criticism for its policies, including mass layoffs by DOGE at federal agencies, attempts to deport legal residents, reciprocal tariffs on most nations, including American allies and funding freezes for private universities for refusing to submit to increased oversight.
