TEHRAN – The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company Hamid Bovard has announced the development of the Arvand and Minou oil fields in Khuzestan, stating that drilling rigs will soon be deployed in these fields.
Bovard emphasized the importance of recent exploration and seismic activities, noting that the Arvand and Minou oil fields, which were discovered earlier, are now entering the development phase.
Highlighting the oil industry’s readiness to support refineries, particularly the Abadan refinery, in achieving developmental goals, Bovard said efforts have been made in recent months to allocate more feedstock to refineries. This has resulted in increased production of gasoline and diesel, an achievement considered a pride of the 14th government.
Regarding the oil industry’s social commitments in Khuzestan, Bovard added that the Abadan hospital will soon be handed over to the warm-hearted people of the city as a gift from the National Iranian Oil Company, serving the citizens of the region.
