Gaza Resistance Groups Detect Israeli ‘Spy Devices’ Across Enclave

GAZA (Dispatches) –
Palestinian resistance groups in Gaza have detected Israeli “spy devices” across the enclave, it has been revealed. The groups pointed out that reconnaissance aircraft and drones may have left the skies of Gaza for ten hours a day, but the occupation army has left various spy devices in walls, rubble and other places to gather intelligence on movements within the Palestinian territory.
The resistance said that these devices are in many civil institutions and main roads, and that they aim to track the movement of citizens and resistance fighters. It has also been said that the occupation regime is using the names of international relief organizations and similar bodies for the purpose of obtaining information related to the resistance fighters and their families.
Listening devices are not the only things left behind by the regime, said the groups, but they preferred not to disclose what they mean by this at the moment. One resistance security official told Al-Risalah Net, however, that “several agents” of the occupation regime have been captured after cooperating with the occupation in exchange for “false promises”. In doing so, said the official, “They lost themselves, their dignity and their existence in the eyes of their families and society, and facilitated massacres of helpless civilians.”
The official added that the security effort by the resistance has had a clear impact on the occupation forces, which focused intensively on the structure of the groups and committed deliberate massacres against their families.
The purpose of the occupation regime’s “intensive intelligence effort on the ground” is to obtain information to restore its target bank in anticipation of the resumption of its aggression, said the source. He called on the groups to take “utmost care and maintain constant vigilance.”
